Dr. Adam Riker specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of melanoma, sarcoma and breast cancer. He has a special interest in the comprehensive surgical management of melanoma, as well as locally advanced basal and squamous carcinoma, Merkel cell carcinoma, and soft tissue sarcoma of the extremity, trunk and retroperitoneum. 

Dr. Riker has previously held numerous physician leadership positions at both academic and community-based healthcare systems throughout the United States. He is well-published in clinical and translational cancer research and has presented his findings at both national and international meetings. 

Dr. Riker is board-certified with the American Board of Surgery.  He’s a member of both the Society of Surgical Oncology and American College of Surgeons. He is an Army veteran, previously serving 3-years of active duty in Germany and El Paso, Texas. He also served in the Public Health Service during his fellowship in surgical oncology.

In his free time, Dr. Riker enjoys fishing, hunting, long distance running, reading and writing. He has also authored two books on optimal lifestyle, diet & human nutrition, and remains committed to treating and reversing chronic diseases through improved lifestyle & nutritional choices.
